Started the day under rain.Saw how workers remove the form-work while waiting for the rain to stop. New floor has been set up at Section 3 when i was off yesterday.It was almost all the same for today by doing the inspection for Section 1 which is to be concreted.Will have to perform inspection of beam and slab for Section 2 on tomorrow as well as the shear wall of Section 3 for level 36.After tomorrow,my first week of intern is done and i will have to start with my weekly report.

W1D3

Inspection of beam and slab for level 36 section A1 which has just been built and also the shear wall of level 35 section 2 with Mr.Chan.Everything was fine but only with some minor problems. After lunch break,my body ain't feeling well.Work must be done,i try to keep myself to the work because i know that this is the chance where i can learn everything that i couldn't learn in books. When we were having tea break time, I've collapsed.My body is like totally boneless,i'm cold,body is hot,running nose and sore throat. I informed my supervisor Mr.Chey and he asked me to rest properly before i go to the working place which is full with risk. I've made it till the working time is over.Driving all the way from my working place to Wangsa to visit doctor. I was diagnosed with 40 degree Celsius of high fever and my doctor was asking me to have 2 days MC which i refuse to. But she insisted at least a day off so that i can have a proper rest before i start working again.That's it,i called my supervisor to inform him that i won't be able to work on tomorrow and he said that it's okay even asked me to take care.LOL! Great,now i am resting here and will be off from work tomorrow.

It was a normal day for me where i had gone through the Inspection of shear wall and see it with my own eyes on how concrete is casted on those floor that full with re-bars as well as submitting the inspection form to the clerk of work for inspection.At least i saw something that i know today,the slump test before concrete is accepted.Another floor has been built and i was asked to do the inspection of slab and beam.Well,my Architect Manager summoned me today and it seriously scared the shit out of me because i thought that i did something seriously wrong!Fortunately,he was just intended to put me into different departments within these few months so that i am able to learn more things even they ain't related to my field.Another inspection for the beam and slab that are done on tomorrow.Hopefully i will be able to wake up on tomorrow!

Intern 1st day~

Woke up early at 6am and left at 630am and i still fucking met the traffic jam at Genting Klang! Arrived at the site at 730am and started reporting in by meeting MR.Chew Chee Yuan the Head of the Site.Then it was another intro-hi-bye session with every engineer that is working there. I was assigned to be under the guidance of MR.Sara the C&S Engineer of Tower A(We have a total of 4 towers there). Went to 35th floor for inspection of re-bar dimensions and the arrangement.It was then followed by inspecting the casted concrete for the underneath levels.By marking the concrete with faulty with spraying paint so that further replacement will be made.Eg.Honeycomb and porous concrete is to be removed.Have learnt on how to see the drawing of floor plan.After that,i was invited to attend the meeting before i end my first day at the site.It was then another JAMMING session when i was on my way back.

I have been assigned to monitor the casting of concrete for 36th floor on tomorrow.Need to go to bed now.Nitez Peeps!

Future Engineer In The Making~

Two Guys were competing for a girls’ heart, A Doctor and an Engineer The Doctor brought Red Roses and Chocolates everyday. On the other hand, the Engineer is very consistent in bringing Red Apples. The Girl asked him, why he keep on bringing apples instead of Chocolate and Red roses? The Engineer wrote a note and handed another apple, The girl smiled when she read the note which said: “An apple a day keeps the Doctor away”
